When applying for free cellular phones with service, you are required to provide personal information such as social security number, date of birth and billing address information. Carriers will do a credit check to approve you for cellular phone service. Categories

The IEEE standard adopted by the Government ensures that cellphones cannot transmit more than 0.06 Watts of power. Digital cellphones however send the signal in bursts. Carrier Bureau Enforcement Page for telephone company related complaints. Great starting point to find cellphone towers in your neighborhood. All carriers must get approval from the FCC before putting up a tower. All records are kept on cellphone towers and repeaters in the FCC database and is available for public viewing. |
