Formerly VoiceStream. Known for first nationwide GSM network, and the first nationwide GPRS service. Like Sprint PCS, they operate only in the PCS band, and have no analog network. VoiceStream was bought by Germany's Deutsche Telekom AG in June 2001, and re-branded as T-Mobile in the 2nd half of 2002. T-Mobile is Deutsche Telekom's global wireless brand.
