Sprint PCS Vision subscribers can now view webcam footage on their handsets, the carrier announced Monday.

EarthCam Mobile, a new application available on select Sprint phones, allows users to broadcast and the share live images from their personal PC-mounted webcams onto their phones. Customers can also view images from webcams around the world, including traffic and the weather webcams, and can search content provided by EarthCam Mobile.

The wireless Java application has an online companion site and is available to Vision subscribers for $5 a month.
